Blog tour stop: Market for Love by Jill Elaine Hughes

Heroine Miranda Johansson has had a very bad day.  The strait-laced, ultraconservative stock-market analyst in Chicago’s LaSalle Street financial district just lost eighty-seven million dollars of her clients’ money in a massive stock-market implosion.  And if that weren’t bad enough, she just had wild, no-holds-barred sex with a complete stranger on her coffee break----and that complete stranger turns out to be her new boss!  Can Miranda get control of herself without losing her job, and her mind?  Or will her sexy new boss completely derail her self-discipline, her stock portfolio, and her career?  (Not to mention the sudden intrusion of his manipulative ex-girlfriend---a scheming, ruthless woman who controls half of Wall Street.)

Will Miranda survive the ups and downs of her new love life, which is just as volatile and unpredictable as the market?  Or will her new romance go down the tubes along with the economy?  Only time will tell.

Readers who are down and out about their trashed investment portfolios can pick up a copy of MARKET FOR LOVE and forget all about the economic downturn.  Read the book, and have a little fun peeking inside the unseen world of the sexy young investment bankers who’ve been pushed to the edge along with everyone else.

Excerpt:
“I have access to a private office suite on this floor,” he said, his voice even and businesslike.  “Private bathroom, too, which should also have some better facial soap available.  You can clean up, take a breather, whatever you need to do.  Follow me.”  Without waiting for Miranda’s reply, the man took her by the hand and gently led her across the lobby.  Before Miranda knew what hit her, she was whisked into a small, luxurious office, complete with leather-on-mahogany furniture, Oriental rugs, and a six-foot-high decorative fountain.
“The bathroom’s over there,” the man said, pointing to a doorway just to the right of the fountain.  “If there’s anything else I can get for you, let me know.”
“Umm,” Miranda mumbled again, and made a beeline for the bath.  Her eyes widened as she closed the heavy paneled door behind her and took in the posh powder room.  Everything was made of marble—even the ceiling.  The fixtures were spotless polished white porcelain.  On the gleaming countertop was an array of high-end toiletries—and a few brands even the hopeless shopaholic Miranda hadn’t heard of.  There was a basket of clean, folded silk-terry washcloths, and another, smaller basket full of cotton balls and cotton swabs. There was even a laundry pen for removing clothing stains, a lint brush, and a miniature fabric steamer. After some consideration, she chose a bottle of astringent and a cotton ball to strip off her ruined makeup. It worked perfectly.  It even helped exfoliate the top layer of her skin, revealing a healthy glow she’d never been able to achieve with hundreds of dollars’ worth of other cleansers.  Miranda made a mental note to pick up a bottle of the stuff next time she was at the mall.  She used the laundry pen to clean the makeup off the collar of her suit, and then applied some moisturizer to her face, dabbing some extra around her eyes in hopes it would help reduce the puffiness all her crying had caused.
Satisfied with her refreshed appearance, Miranda took a deep breath and headed back out into the tall, super-sexy-yet-anonymous man’s private office.
He was waiting for her just outside the bathroom door and when her brown eyes met his blue ones, her stomach did a flip-flop rivaling that of any Olympic diving champion.  “Oh!” she squealed as her hand jerked itself onto her belly.
“Feeling all right?” he asked.  “I have some antacid in my desk drawer if you need it.”
“No, umm, that’s OK,” Miranda replied, her voice still high-pitched and squeaky.  “I umm, I just hiccupped, is all.”  A lie.  The truth was, this man was making her feel—well—quidgy. Quidgy all over, but especially right between her legs. It was a delightful feeling, but a scary one, too.  She decided she needed to thank him, guzzle her giant espresso, and make a graceful exit before anything got out of hand.  “I, ahhhh, I really need to get back upstairs.”
“Suit yourself,” the man said.  “But you’re espresso’s getting cold.  You’re welcome to have a seat and relax for a few minutes while you finish it.”  He indicated one of the heavy leather armchairs, gesturing for her to sit.  Without thinking, Miranda did.  She noticed with surprise that there was a huge fireplace directly across from her chair.  The tall, azure-eyed man flipped a switch, and a blazing fire appeared out of nowhere.
“Gas fireplaces are the eighth wonder of the world,” he said as he sat down in the leather chair opposite her.  “Don’t you think?”
“Umm,” was all Miranda could say.  The quidgy feeling that was so delightful in the nether parts of her body had a funny way of paralyzing her from the neck up.  After much concentration, she finally got her jaw and lips to work.  “I, umm, never knew this place was here,” she stammered.
“My company has several floors of offices in this building,” the man said.  “The management gives me use of this little private hideaway as thanks for all the money I drop here in rent.  I can use it whenever I need some privacy.”  He paused, smiled.  “Or, when someone I know needs some privacy.”
“That’s nice,” Miranda said, drinking the rest of her espresso in one gulp.  The quintuple dose of caffeine hit her bloodstream like a shot of heroin.  She could almost feel her pupils dilating.
“Are you sure you’re all right?” the man asked, his turquoise eyes meeting hers.  “You seem kind of—agitated.”
“That’s because I am!” she blurted.  The caffeine was working fast—too fast.  Miranda felt her heart start racing, felt her lips forming words faster than she could think about what they might be.  “I’ve had such a bad day!  I lost eighty-seven million dollars for my clients just this morning!  I’m totally screwed!  I’m going to get fired!  I hate myself!  I’m ….”
“Whoa!” the tall man said, holding up both hands. “Slow down.  Like I said back at the coffee shop, ingesting that much caffeine in the space of two minutes isn’t good for people your size.  Or to be more specific, very attractive young women of your size.”
“Are you coming on to me?” Miranda sputtered, her mouth going a mile a minute.  “Because if you are, you should really stop.  You know why?  I’m a walking disaster area.  That’s what my last boyfriend called me when we broke up.  Plus ….”
The tall man’s blue eyes were serious.  Miranda felt them drill into her, felt them penetrate the private, sensual part of herself she’d kept carefully locked away ever since her last boyfriend—a dry-as-a-bone commodities broker named Paul--had dumped her more than four years before.  And now, the attractive-yet-mysterious man sitting across from her didn’t just penetrate that most private part of Miranda’s inner being.  He downright melted it—hell, vibrated it—with just one ice-blue glance.  “You don’t look like a walking disaster area to me,” he said.
“But I am!  Didn’t you hear what I just said?  My ex-boyfriend called me a walking disaster area, and he was right.  Because only a walking disaster area would lose eighty-seven million dollars of her clients’ money in the space of fifteen minutes.”
The tall man’s expression softened.  He loosened his green silk tie, stretched out his legs a little.  “If there’s one thing I’ve learned about the stock market in my career, miss, it’s that you can often earn money back just as fast as you lose it.  If you know how to play the game.”
The man’s acute comment caught Miranda off-guard.  “I ….”
“I bet your work has something to do with the telecom sector,” he said.  The accuracy of his guess shook Miranda to the core.  “That area’s taken quite a beating this morning, as I understand it.”
“How did you know?”  Miranda’s voice trembled, just as she felt her nether parts getting warmer and warmer.
“I have a live CNBC feed in my limo,” he explained.  “Plus, by my calculations, that’s the only market sector where it’s possible for anyone to have lost, say, eighty-seven million dollars from their fund portfolio just this morning.  Am I right?”
Miranda nodded, unable to speak.
“I bet if you can make even a portion of that money back for your clients by the end of the market day, your boss won’t be too upset with you,” he went on.  “In fact, I’m sure of it.”
“B-but I’m an analyst!” she protested.  “I’m not a broker!  I have to do weeks and weeks of research and analysis before I can recommend any stock to my clients.  I can’t day-trade!  It’s against the rules!”
“I never said you had to day-trade,” the man said, leaning in closer.  Miranda could feel the tiny stirrings in the air between them from his breathing.  Those stirrings excited her.  Excited her a little too much, in fact.
“Then what can I do?” she sputtered.  “The SEC regulations on what analysts can and cannot do are pretty strict, you know.”
“I’m familiar with all the SEC regulations, miss.  I did your job once myself.  What I can tell you--based upon my own past experience as an analyst—is there is quite a lot you can accomplish in a short period of time if you’re creative.”
Creative?  Miranda wasn’t creative.  Not even close.  She was a right-brained, numbers-obsessed, stock-market-loving bean counter.  That was the whole reason she had gone into finance in the first place instead of say, oil-painting.  Miranda voted Republican, checked her stock portfolio every day, and always wore gray or black pinstriped suits with pantyhose and high heels.
“Umm,” she stammered for the umpteenth time that morning.  “I’m not really--creative.  I’m more of a ….” She trailed off.  Suddenly her tongue felt too large for her mouth.
“It’s all right, miss,” the tall, azure-eyed man said, taking her right hand in his and squeezing it.  “We all have bad days in this business.  Goes with the territory.  As long as you can make up some of your losses, I’m sure you’ll be fine.”
As long as you can make up some of your losses.  He made it sound so easy.
But it wasn’t.  Anyone who’d ever invested a dime in the stock market could tell her that.  “Well, um, I guess I should really be going!” Miranda stood up, looking right and left for a wastebasket where she could toss her empty espresso cup.
“I’ll take that,” the tall man said, standing up.  He reached for the empty, and their hands touched again.  Miranda felt a bolt of lightning streak right through her body as his skin grazed hers. She’d never felt these kinds of sensations before.  Not with Paul. Not even with her old college boyfriend Bradley--the man to whom she’d given her precious virginity. Not with anyone.
The entire lower half of Miranda’s body was in flames.
Her nipples had gone rock-hard, and the space between her thighs was slick as melted butter.  Her head throbbed, and her lips, teeth, and tongue screamed for the feel of his mouth on hers.
What the hell was going on?
Miranda felt her cheeks flush.  How could this be happening?  She was a prim, proper, and very strait-laced woman.  She didn’t go throwing herself with wild abandon at total strangers--let alone total strangers she’d met while on what was supposed to be a five-minute coffee break from work.  And yet, her body was telling her that throwing herself at this nameless man with wild abandon was exactly what she had to do, right now, just to stay alive, just to keep breathing.
Without giving the matter another thought, Miranda leaned forward and kissed the tall, generous, anonymous man’s lips.  And it wasn’t just any kiss, either.  It was a grab-his-ass, stick-her-tongue-halfway-down-his-throat kind of kiss.
It was a kind of kiss Miranda hadn’t known she was capable of giving anyone--let alone a man she’d met less than ten minutes ago, a man whose name she still didn’t know.
A man who was kissing her back with as much gusto as she was kissing him.
What I thought about this book?
This books was a fun read and quick read for me.  It is a story about a woman, Miranda, who meets this cute guy in a coffee shop and hooks up with him.  Little does she know, that this cute guy is her new boss.  You follow her in her struggle with her attraction with her boss and the difficulties of an evil ex girlfriend. The are some fun sex scenes with an awesome story line.  I give this a 3.5 out of five stars.

Excerpt:

Cassie screamed with pain.
“How does it feel to be on the receiving end of pain, Dr. Jewel?”
“How do you know my name,” the Shadow woman asked squirming on the floor.
“I know a lot of things about you, and none of it is good. Did you feel real powerful when you had helpless people kidnapped?”
There was shock on Cassie’s grey face.
“Yeah, I know all about it. You had three innocent people killed to get your dirty hands on that gold. You are scum Cassandra Jewel.” Jayna grabbed Cassie from the floor and threw her against the wall.
Cassie cowered.
“Were you planning to go to their funeral,” Jayna asked, “and pretend you were their friend? Maybe shed a few tears?” Jayna threw a powerful punch into Cassie’s solar plexus. Cassie doubled over with pain, coughing.
“Stop it,” Cassie whispered hoarsely.
“Why should I? Tell me one good reason I should not kill you?”
Cassie coughed, still trying to catch her breath.
Jayna, that’s enough. Ethan warned her. We are not here to kill anyone.
That’s what the bitch deserves.
Jayna turned around and saw a new stack of gold plates on the dining room table. “I see, you brought more gold from the Underworld,” she said to Cassie.
She walked up to the table and scooped up the plates in her arms. They were about ten pounds. Awesome! We’ll make a few more miracles with these.
Cassie screamed with rage again. “Put those back. You can’t have them. They are mine.”
“Not on your life,” Jayna said and walked through the wall. Ethan and Colin followed her; they didn’t want to lose sight of Jayna for a second, in case the demon came back.

About the Author:

A university graduate in Economics, this mother of three and foster mother of 25 has been drawn to the world of paranormal since childhood. A devoted reader herself, Meltem Y.K has always had the aspiration to create her own brand of fantasy.

While working full-time and raising a family, into the late hours of the night, Meltem Y.K dreamed the fantasies that only she could and created a story that's grown into the Astral Ordinance Series

I did an interview with the author and this is what she had to say...

What inspired you to write your first book?

My passion for paranormal or spiritual experiences inspired me to write the first book. The story was churning in me for a long time. Finally, the characters started coming into life and literally forcing me to write their story.

What books/authors have most influenced your life most?

In each stage of my development as a reader I read volumes and volumes of books until I had my fill that particular genre then I would progress to the next one. I loved all of Robert Ludlum’s books and could not wait for the next one, sadly he passed away. I felt like I lost a family member. I have a lot of respect for David Morrell. I learned a lot about writing from his book, The Successful Novelist: A Lifetime of Lessons about Writing and Publishing. I had a chance to meet him at a talk he gave in Waterloo, Ontario. I was in awe. Meeting him in person really inspired me.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

No.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

The hardest part of writing my book was getting into the head of a very evil woman. It took me days to tune into her essence.

While you were writing, did you ever feel as if you were one of the characters?

I never felt like one of the characters, but more like an omniscient being who can hear their every thought, feel their pain and their joy. You could hear me laughing or crying when I am writing. I am right there with the rest of the characters, living their story with them.

Which actor/actress would you like to see playing the lead character from your most recent book?

When I am writing, I see my characters in my mind’s eye, but I have a hard time picturing any of the celebrities I know of as being my characters. If my books are ever made into movies, I would like to see unknown actors and actresses cast into the roles.

What is your favorite positive saying?

It is much simpler to forgive then to carry the baggage for a lifetime.

What is your favorite book and why?

The Autobiography of a Yogi, written by Paramahansa Yogananda, is my favorite book. It is a wealth of information about the experiences and lives of yogis.

If you were interviewing yourself, what are the top 3 questions you would ask yourself?

·         What inspired me to write the Astral Ordinance series?

·         Is there a lesson to be learned?

·         Is there any truth to stories?

What book are you reading now?

Currently, I am reading Amanda Hocking’s Elegy.

What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been the best compliment?

Somebody once said that they “were not keen on it” referring to the first book in the series. It hurt my feelings, but I deduced that they were not keen on the genre. I write paranormal stories, so if that is not something the person enjoys it does not matter how good the story is, it just isn’t for them.

The best compliment? I recently published a short story which is a complement to my series, The Astral Ordinance. I had many people write and tell me that they wanted more, it wasn’t enough for them. That put a smile on my face.

Do you have anything specific you would like to share with your readers?

I am really into the world of paranormal and spirituality. I can’t see myself writing anything that would not have something to do with these topics. I love to write, but writing takes time and a full length novel takes a long time to write. In the future, watch for more short stories that I will release in between full length novels to complement some of the characters and events in the series.

I love hearing from my readers. I invite you to write to me at meltemyk@hotmail.ca I promise to write back.

CANDICE:  PREPARING FOR THE INTERVIEW

1983
New York City

No, I’m not a virgin, and no, I’m not a prude, but I have slept with only three men.  The first was my husband.  The second was the private investigator I hired to see if my husband was cheating.  The third was my first one-night stand to see how it felt to have sex with a stranger.  Anyway, that paltry number will most likely soar to three men a day as if it were a tooth brushing or vitamin regimen.
So here I sit, despite my weak résumé, doing research for my interviews reading Penthouse Forum articles, if you can call them “articles,” along with a slew of other magazines wrapped in cellophane.  My mouth is slack-jawed with astonishment; I feel like I just fell off the sexual hay truck.  What the hell is infantilism?
My first interview is tonight with André.  He’s the concierge at The Regal, a renowned five-star hotel in Manhattan.  André will be in charge of all of my appointments if I get the job as the “in-house” call girl.  If all goes well, I get passed on to Robert, the owner of The Regal, the following evening.  And if he approves, I proceed to the final interview with a regular client named Conner whose turn-on is humiliation.  He masochist, me sadist.
The girl I’ll be replacing has been a patient teacher and friend encouraging me with a “You can do this” mantra and having me respond with “I think I can, I think I can” optimism.  She even took me shopping for the get-ups I would need for each interview.  For André, she picked lingerie a bride would wear on her wedding night.  Sexy, yet classic.  For Robert, she chose a French maid outfit complete with black fishnet stockings and patent leather stilettos.  I was fine with both ensembles.
Now comes the juicy part.  My outfit for the masochist.  Head to toe leather.  Even the leash is leather.  My thigh-high black boots have four-inch heels and I’ll be lucky if I can pass the hour without falling on my face made up with smoky eyes and burgundy lips.  The only time I dressed up was on Halloween or when I would sneak my brother’s little league uniform out of the Salvation Army bag and pretend I was a baseball player, which I would’ve preferred to the tutu I wore as a ballerina enduring the first, second and third positions of torture.
My mentor offered advice for each interview:  “André is a gentleman.  He’s going to study you the way an art collector would appraise a painting.  (Translation: Would men be willing to spend five Benjamins for an hour of your time?)  If he likes the painting, he’ll pass it on to Robert.  Now Robert is a man’s man.  On the outside he seems like John Wayne, rough and tough around the edges, but he’s really no different than the average Joe wanting worship and adoration.  Just behave in awe at all of his Dale Carnegie accomplishments and you’ll have him wrapped around your finger in a New York minute, which is exactly how long it will take him to climax.  Both André and Robert are vanilla ice cream sex.  Conner’s a different story.  Treat him like a dog who just chewed up your designer stilettos.”
I felt confident about André and Robert, but Conner had me anxious, no, terrified.  What in God’s
name was I thinking?  It’s not like I announced at the family dinner table, “When I grow up, I want to be a prostitute.”   I remember wanting to be a princess, perhaps a teacher, and most of all, just like Mommy.  I took the high road.  It just didn’t work out

What I thought about Virtue?
I thought this book was super good.  It took me awhile to understand the format of and figure out that all three women in the book were the same person.  After I discovered this, I loved this book.  You follow Susan, a Southern Belle, and what led her to turn into Candice, a high price hooker. For me this was a quick read and a good read.  I would give this book four stars out of five.

More about the author....

My first word was "cookie." That tells you just about everything you need to know about me.

I was born in Columbia, South Carolina weighing a meager three pounds, which was tenuous back in those days. As usual, I was early for my own birthday by three months. My theory is everyone's punctuality is innate. I'm early for almost everything.

My folks moved to Atlanta when I was nine months old and I stayed there until I was twenty-four. My itch was Manhattan. I can still remember signaling my first taxi and when that checker cab pulled over for me, I became Audrey Hepburn. Even though I understand the whys, I miss those over sized cabs and their character. There's nothing glamorous in putting your hand out for a yellow Prius.

I fell for a "Yankee" and never made it back to Atlanta. We tied the knot and made three beautiful children. Funny, my youngest son read the first few pages of VIRTUE, and his only comment was, "This is fiction, right?"
My friends and family have been telling me to write for years. The challenge was coming up with the story. VIRTUE was inspired by scandalous newspaper headlines. A Governor got caught with an escort. That had me scratching my head. Why would a powerful man risk his career? And what about the escort? She looked like a pretty girl and came from a nice family. Then I researched the history of prostitution and came to understand why it is referred to as "the oldest profession." Yes, prostitution is in The Bible.
My second novel, MY FATHER'S AFFAIR, which should be published by June of 2013, was inspired by a true story. I took that story and raised the proverbial stakes. I changed the era and the setting. Things were much different in the early sixties. Small towns are like Cheers where everybody knows your name. But I think the most important aspect of writing this novel was the narrator. The reader sees the story through Ellie's eyes, the thirteen year old daughter, which intensifies the emotions.
Writing gets me out of bed every morning. Okay, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are equally motivating. If I'm not writing, I'm reading. There is nothing better than a great read. My biggest hope is that you find pleasure reading my novels.

Here are a few interview questions that Allison answered...

Q)  What books have most influenced your life most?
A)  Stephen King’s novels make me throw my head back and say, “Wow!”  His descriptions, adjectives, and pacing just blow me away.  The man is a word artist.  But there are also two southern writers that are beyond mesmerizing and if you do sit down to read their work, take the day off from all responsibilities because you will want to give both authors your undivided attention:  Flannery O’Conner and Harper Lee.

Q)  What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
A)  This might be too much information, but I scheme and plot in the bathtub.  There aren’t any distractions and I do my best thinking with a good, steamy soak.

Q)  Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
A)  I had an English professor in college who told me, “I actually look forward to reading your stories.”  Thing is, I always enjoyed writing, but she made me realize I had talent.  One day she told me, “Allison, I bet you could write a story about a toothbrush and make it interesting.”   I wish I had saved that assignment.  The toothbrush, Reddie, came to life, fuelled by jealousy that the “other” toothbrush got used everyday while Reddie just sat there unused and ignored.

Q)  What was the hardest part of writing your books?
A)   Letting them go out in public!  My husband asked me, “When are you gonna be finished?”  You have to reach a point where you stop trying to make each and every sentence better.  In a way, writing is a form of torture.

Blog Tour Stop: Carter Reed by Tijan

Carter Reed by Tijan

SYNOPSIS

Emma decided to skip the gym and went home early. It was the last easy decision she made because she found her roommate being raped by the boyfriend. She had two choices. Call the cops and be killed by his family’s mafia connections or kill him first and hope to survive. There was no choice to her. She killed the bastard first and went to the one person who could protect her. Carter Reed. He’s a weapon for the rivaling mafia family, but he’s also Emma’s secret. Not only was he best friends with her brother, but she’s the reason he became that weapon in the first place.

Here is an awesome excerpt of the book...
"Tell me what happened." His plea was so soft.
I broke. This wasn't the stranger anymore. This was Carter, the boy I had grown up with. I flung my arms around him and pulled him down. Instead of fighting, I clung to him now.
He wrapped his arms around me and rolled to his side. He patted my back and tucked his head into the crook of my neck and shoulder. I felt his lips brush there as he repeated, "You have to tell me. I won't hurt you. I will protect you."
A shudder went through my body. At last. Those were the words I was desperate for. He moved his hands, one sliding down to my hip and the other cradling the back of my head, he pressed into me. The last of my reserve fled then. A gasp escaped me and I pressed against him. I needed him.
"Emma."
Shame flooded me. He knew. What kind of person was I? Fighting, running away, and then starting to tremble in his arms?
His hand started to caress my hip. His fingers slid underneath my shirt and moved under my pants' waistband. He held me there, his hand splayed out. I tried to resist, but I wanted to wind my legs around him. I wanted to pull him on top of me and feel his hand between my legs. But I didn't do anything. I lay there, still, as my heart pounded inside of me. He could feel the beat against him. The thumping drowned everything else out.
He pressed a soft kiss to my forehead and raised himself up again. He looked down at me. The plea in his eyes was still there. As he brushed some of my hair from my forehead, he asked, "Do you not trust me?"
I nodded. "I'm scared of you."
A small grin appeared at the corners of his mouth. "You are?"
"I don't know who you are anymore." I couldn't believe I was admitting any of that, but I needed to trust someone. I had to if I was going to survive what I had done. Feeling a little bit brave, I touched his chest. My hand spread out like his was on my back. His heart was steady. I murmured, "I know who you are. I know you're the Cold Killer. I know what you did for AJ." A tear slipped from the corner of my eye. It fell unheeded. "I always wanted to thank you for that."

You may purchase this book at Amazon.

What I think about this book?
What more can I say other than I loved this book.  I feel in love with it within the first few pages.  The story just sucked me in. I could not put it down and read it all in one sitting.  Five stars out of five all of the way.  If I did not have other books that I had to read for other stops, I would have looped read this book.

More about the author...
Tijan started writing later in life, after she had already graduated college with a different direction in mind and a different degree under her belt. Hitting the brakes on that path, she taught herself how to write a good book and began posting at sites such as Fictionpress, along with Wattpad. After receiving such encouraging messages from readers, she self-published Fallen Crest High and has continued throughout the year. She continues to keep writing NA books!

I did an interview with her and this is what she had to say...
What inspired you to write your first book?

Nothing really. It was just the need to get these storylines out of my head!

What books/authors have most influenced your life most?

I don’t read too much lately, maybe that’d help me! I used to love J.D.Robb, Charlaine Harris, J.K.Rowling. I also loved S.C.Stephens Reckless series too.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

No because I wrote the story how it was in my head. Some have loved it and others have hated it, but I put out what I am proud of.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Knowing that whatever I write, it will be picked apart by someone.

While you were writing, did you ever feel as if you were one of the characters?
Well, there’s a part of me in every book I write so yes! J
Which actor/actress would you like to see playing the lead character from your most recent book?
I like the look of Minka Kelly from Friday Night Lights.
What is your favorite positive saying?
Just keep going.
What is your favorite book and why?
Probably Harry Potter because of how she wrote them and it’s a completely different universe!
If you were interviewing yourself, what are the top 3 questions you would ask yourself?
1.     What’s your next project?
2.     Why do you write?
3.     What keeps you writing?
(I have no idea. Honestly. I hope these are alright!)
What book are you reading now?
None right now. I’m trying to only focus on Fallen Crest Public.
What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author?
Any time I get a harsh review about my books, it’s hard.
What has been the best compliment?
I love it when people say that they’re still thinking about my books days after reading them.
Do you have anything specific you would like to share with your readers?
Just thanks for the support!
